Eve Day Accountancy Ltd is Sara Sawyer and Sarah Burroughs who are both AAT-qualified accountants, and between us we have over twenty years of experience. We cover the Southampton, Totton, New Forest and Salisbury/Shaftesbury areas as well as places in between.
We work with limited companies, partnerships and individuals/sole traders, and we can help you with your company, partnership or sole trader accounts and tax returns as well as submit your VAT returns and do your bookkeeping. We can work to suit your needs either remotely or on-site, and are available for short-term holiday or sickness cover. Sara is also a member of the Internal Audit Forum which specialises in local council audit.
We both had previous careers before coming to accountancy, including in the construction industry and charities sector, from where we have brought other skills such as project management and problem-solving.
Our business has grown by word of mouth recommendations and by providing excellent client care. We feel it is important to listen to our clients and we like to think we are approachable.
Sara decided to name the business in honour of her mother’s birth name, as she had discovered in her late sixties that she had been adopted at birth. When she traced the ‘new’ family tree it contained a number of bookkeepers and accountants – which could explain her natural love of seeing a set of random transactions transform into a profit and loss or a balance sheet.
